Our Story
Our madrasa began in Afghanistan with the mission of teaching the Qur’an and Islamic studies to children and ladies with care and respect. Now, as Afghan families build their lives in Nottingham, our Ummekulsum Madrasa, named Home Family Flexible Madrasa, we are continuing this work here in the UK. We are starting Qur’an and Islamic Studies classes for our community, aiming to create a warm and supportive environment where our children and honorable ladies can learn and stay connected to our faith and traditions.
